Hi everyone! I’m Daniel, one of your hall seniors this year. I’m a second-year student studying mechanical engineering and like you, I spent my first year living in Tizard. Congratulations for getting into Imperial!

Living in Tizard will help you a lot with getting settled into uni life. It’s super close to the South Kensington campus and has easy access to a gym, Hyde Park and many other fun places. The best advice I can give is to try and get to know as many people as possible as difficult as it might feel. Going to hall events, particularly the Fresher’s Fortnight events give you a great opportunity to meet new people. I myself met some of my best friends during the first few days of Fresher’s Fortnight!

I’m a keen F1 fan and love anything motorsport. I enjoy darts as well, so you might find me in Eastside Bar (just across from Tizard) playing every now and then. If you need advice, help, or just someone to talk to, I’m always free to chat. Feel free to message me or just knock on my door!
